UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS (USMC)

Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) will host the USMC – DoN HBCU/MI Internship Program. MCTSSA provides 24/7 global technical support for command, control, computer, communications, cyber, and intelligence (C5I) systems; and conducts engineering, testing and evaluation, and supports experimentation on C5I systems and amphibious platforms in order to inform acquisition decisions and make the Fleet Marine Force (FMF) more capable.

Students participating in the USMC HBCU/MI Internship Program will have the opportunity to work on problems involving applications of expeditionary vehicles, amphibious operations and tactical systems to name a few. Interns will learn and develop techniques, apply what they learn to real-time solutions, and experience the excitement of success built on hard work and innovation. The desired outcome is for interns to gain real world application of their academic studies, working alongside Marine Corps subject matter experts at MCTSSA to find answers to real world problem sets, in an exciting and challenging experience.

HBCU/MI students majoring in fields related to data science, cybersecurity, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, artificial intelligence, modeling & simulation, information technology/security, and other Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) related field.
